FPVD Chrome finishing
PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) Chrome Finishing is the process that allows for "mirror-like" chrome plated aluminum profiles.
This innovative process, tested and fine-tuned exclusively by Novellini in recent years, is the only production process that allows for industrial replication of the aesthetic and functional aspects of galvanized chrome (as with taps and fittings for example). Unlike galvanized chrome, however, it can be described as eco-sustainable and fully recyclable inasmuch as it does not use heavy metals in their physical toxic-noxious and carcinogenic state.
The advantages for you: as well as being eco-sustainable and recyclable, the chrome stratification system makes the surfaces non-scratch and improves scratch resistance and water run-off preventing the formation of lime scale.
Maintenance: for best maintenance, the use of neutral cleaning products is recommended, avoiding both acid based (chloride, muriatic acid) and alkaline based (bleach, ammonia) products.
Acrylic material
Acrylic is a material that Novellini uses for the casing of hydro massage basins and some shower cabinets. It is and extremely moldable material and so allows for particular shapes and designs.
Acrylic is a material that never ages thanks to its properties:
- The color and brightness remains unaltered in time because it is resistant to UV rays
- It has a high resistance to abrasion
- It is safe because it is antibacterial, anti-toxic and durable
Crystal Clear Finishing
Crystal Clear is the innovative Novellini treatment for clear glass: applied to a hot surface, it adheres perfectly to the surface making it non-stick.
Advantages for you:
A nicer looking window: stays shiny for longer, and also more resistant to scratches, stains and dullness, with an ever 'good as new' effect.
A more functional glass: easy to clean, not requiring abrasive cleaning
A more hygienic glass: perfectly smooth, it allows bacteria and dirt to run off quickly. The bacterial load is reduced by 97/98%.
Maintenance: residues left on non-treated glass by hard water or soaps must be eliminated with aggressive products that damage the surface in the long run. On the other hand, glass treated with Crystal Clear can be cleaned easily with a damp and non-abrasive cloth. A trick to make the cleaning of the shower even easier is to run the water jet over the glass or tiles: This is enough to remove the little drops that remain on the treatment.
